MCC for BA application professional pilot application, any derogation possible?

Why would BA require an MCC certificate for applicants with ATPL, thousand of hours of widebodies at several airlines overseas? I think the experience speaks for itself when it comes to working with other pilots in a multi crew jet. It just sounds a little bit irrelevant. Any sort of derogation possible to that rule based on experience?

Thanks

just another way of cutting down the number of posible applicants IMHO

Don't think BA will be recruiting for some time!

What's the source of your info?

It wasn't a requirement during the last round of recruitment.

However I wouldn't get your knickers in a twist about it, DEP recruitment at BA is a long long way away.

How long you reckon until recruitment for DEP...2015/16?
