Air Baltic
Hi everyone,
Can anyone who has recently gone throught the Air Baltic screening process for 737 first officer please share how it goes IE type of tech exam questions type of tech questions in interview and the sim profile, also is anyone else going to Riga on the 2nd for screening. |
As long as you can find the office they are likely to give you a job.......pilots are leaving in droves !
|
-Two quiz with ATPL kind questions (no big deal; just make sure you are told/ask what time you have to complete the test)
-Psichometric questionnaire (by the way, no time limit) -Interview with HR lady (Why do you want to work for AB, what you think your working and/or living experience in AB and Latvia will be. What do you think of living in Latvia during the winter, etc) -Briefing for the sim, in which one of the things asked was Flap Limit Speeds, Gear Down Limit speeds and some other limitations. The session itself. No Autopilot, FD was giving erroneous indications, so I switched it Off. The more challenging bits were an engine failure in the climb and a single eng ILS. Can't remember much more. It's been a while .... All the Best ;) |
Have a look in the Nordic forums. There is a thread there that has been running for a long time, and should give you lots of information.
|
cant find any thread regarding AB in nordic forum

You have to use "search", no-one posted for a while, but there is a 45 pages long one in there , on P2 of the search.
Nothing much there that I didn't send you though :ok: |

Boeing Europe, check PM's
|
Don't forget to take cash with you when you finally go or write out a blank check addressed to Air Baltic.
|
I see they have removed the 737 advert from their website?? they must have recruited enough people on this fleet? I have still heard nothing for that promised interview, anyone else screening soon.
|
BE: it may be that they have sold enough 737 TR courses and line training packages to see them through the summer season. Not that I'm being cynical, but...
|
P2F
I didnt know that Air Baltic were a P2F outfit,I rang them 3 weeks ago and was given a screening date the following week which was cancelled, recieved an e-mail saying she would get in touch with a new date...? that was 3 weeks ago and nada, since the advert has been removed id say they are now al full up for summer
|
They told me that too BE. Air Baltic is a TRTO, and took about 10 P2Fs last summer for the season.
