outstation layover allowance at EK ?

I was just wondering if anyone knew what the layover allowance out station would be for an EK first officer. For eg for a 2 day layover in Sydney what would the allowance be in local currency?

As you can see, you will not be able to supplement your income by eating noodles and saving the allowance, but I never go hungry whether eating in or out of the hotels.

Is the 80$ and 60£ per night or for 2 days?

Ever heard of RTFQ? Maybe read the answer from Schnowzer again :ugh:

He said "each night"...

Dont be an even bigger plonker and confuse questions with answers. :ugh:

Amount not on par in my view, it used to be well above 100 Euros, usually to the order of 140 Euros for 26 hrs at CX. And around 100 quid for the LHRs.

The EK allowances are adjusted so that the company gets the normal aircrew discount-not you. So the amount is calculated at the discounted rate supplied by the hotel that you are staying in-which is usually at the airport. It is supplied in the local currency except for DME,LAD and a couple of others where it is $US.

Ok CTL - airport hotels that I know of on the network... CDG. CMB (and that beats going to the city). MAN - sort of - along with LHR! Heck - that's all I can think of off the top of my head out of many, many destinations!!!!!!!!!!
