Contractair delay of salary transfer

Contractair is late with salary transfer despite other promises and deposites held.
You can not trust informations given . They send emails what they will do and what they have done, finally nothing happend.
It sounds the company has huge problems, not only with money.
Please be very careful.

I had a contract through ContractAir in the earlier days. I couldn't have been happier with all the arrangements including on-time pay & support. I would need to see quite a few more posts before starting to take notice of raised issues.

I agree AUTOFLIGHT !! But as you said

...this was in the earlier days...
Nowadays CONTRACTAIR is just another "poor" agency. They distroyed their previous quite good reputation just within a short time. Don't know why. Maybe financial difficulties
As mentioned in previous posts, delaying the payment and/or refusing to pay part of contractual pay is just one side of their new-Contractair-philosophy-story.

Another experience with them, but this was also during the good earlier days, if everything is running fine, Contractair is fine, but if there is just a small contractual issue coming up, they drop you just like a hot stone - and you feel very, very alone.....:yuk: No support from them. Nothing.
On top of that, guess they cash every month 1500 Euros from your contract - for what ?

Next time I will try to go direct with the airline and "share" the 1500 Euros with them instead throwing it into the greedy mouth of Contractair.

nothing to add to flyrider's

..be very careful...
....if you have no other choice to get a job, but with Contractair only :ugh:

Maybe a new deal - money paid up-front ?
Any pilot who pulls a fast one gets blackballed by the industry ?
The agencies will never get blackballed sadly .

Got quiet a few contractair pilots at the airline i work for and too my knowledge all paid this month. And last issue Contractair supported the Pilots view.:\

The question you should be asking is, did the client airline pay up? If not, most contracts release the agency from any liability. Good agencies take a months pay from the client airline as a bond, to stop this being a problem.

I have used Contractair, both as a pilot and a customer airline, and found them to be very good.

Contractair

having worked for an airline that went bust and having not been paid I am very suprised to see your comments.... I have worked for Contractair for the past two years and ALWAYS without exception have been paid on time in fact early. . having not worked for an agency in the past I find them efficient and hard working......... Perhaps you were one that was not retained as none of my colleagues have any complaints either. Yes we have all been offered Lion too. The contract is signed with our present agency the other agency are just speculating I suspect. Still thats for us to know and you to find out. :=:=
