UK CAA Flight Ops Inspector
 

Dear Ladies and Gents,
I'm considering a career change and would like to work for the UK CAA as a Flight Ops Inspector. Would someone kindly reply on PPRUNE or PM me and give me their thoughts on the position, pay etc?

Just out of interest are you a pilot?

What attracts you to the position? Do you know what qualities/skills they tend to look for? I'd be interested in any info too!

applied years ago but didn't even get an interview even though I had considerably more experience than someone I knew already there.
I was informed that I didn't have the correct handshake!
On reflection glad I didn't I get an interview.:O

Know a chap who used to do this and said that it was the second worst job he had ever had; the first was probably teaching me to fly!

I have no idea as to whether he contributes here so can't direct you to him, but if his hatred remains as passionate as it once did I suspect you will receive a message in due course.
