Middle East commuting contracts
 

Most of the ME airlines are travelling the world trying to sign up rated crews. Why don't the likes of Emirates and Qatar just offer a commuting contract ? Some crew would like to work in the ME but not move their families there.

Because it's all about Control of the workforce.

The last thing they want is to have you in a country where there are Human Rights/Labour Laws/Unions and the option to take legal action against a company for Breach of Contract.

I don't work in the ME but I've spent enough time there to know I don't want any part of it.
