I will be interested in: - knowing the average salary for a copilot in LH Italia - days off per month - life in general in MXP - any feedback will be great :ok: Thanks, nopo :cool: |
LH Italia doesn't yet have their own pilots. LH mainline pilots are sent to MXP for a couple of days in a row.

This are the NET figures with everything included (per diem too)...Flying 74 hrs
1st month 1450 2nd month 2100 3rd month 2100 4th month 2100 5th month 2700 6th month 2700 7>12 month 3000 2nd year 1>12 3100 No fix days off, basic pay very low. And the germans in accounting already learnt the italian way... Will be like this for long time. Pilot population is very young and inexperience... |

Can somebody confirm this salary and also give some feedback about the possibility of commuting yes/no with a flying roster as a F/O? Thank you |
Somebody posts the lousy salary and says you get no fixed days off and the very next poster wants to apply. :ugh: When will we ever learn

You have to get fixed off days. Most copilots are young, but not inexperienced! basic pay is not much, but there are many extras and you will get promoted quickly. From what I know, they are not taking any new applications any more anyway...
