yes they sure are! numbers unknown but quite a few needed for Oz and NZ ops.

Compulsory to have the right to live in OZ or NZ to apply.

Australian CPL needed for Jetstar AUS

Does anyone have a link to their recruitment site? I can't find anything on the Jetstar site.

A friend told me 120 guys over the next 12 months.
As Kindoldfaret has said you must have the right to live/work in Oz or NZ.
I think it will be a long time before Pilots are on the immigration " professions required in Oz " list

Still, those are Very Good News!!!:)

I'm sure there lots of OZ guys all over the world, some of which might return to their country, this way opening vacancies the positions that they had.

Can anyone confirm you need to have an Australian ATPL BEFORE you can apply? I've just been told I don't meet the minimum requirements but I'm an expat NZ national who meets all other requirements including glass cockpit experience?
