Please don't.

It will not help you hugely with Wizz Air as far as I know.

If you were to absolutely have to, I'd call the ATO in Berlin that begins with a "C" and ask for Dennis. He flies at Wizz (or at least did) and used to be well connected.

However, I'd suggest your chances are 5%.

Not good odds.

Val K
If you are not a troll, my
best advice to you is "grow a pair"

B-U-S-S 10th October 2013 07:02

Wizz Air just got their ATO approved, so hold your money back and try to email them again. Type rating, zero hours on type and no job will not get you far today.

Juzir 18th October 2013 20:55

Hi,

Friend of mine is about to apply to non-rated cadet position. He has already type for EMB-500 and has flown with that, does he need to do the JOC? EMB-500 is not JAR25 plane but turbojet of course.. What do you guys think?

Wodka 19th October 2013 08:24

Applied the other day, meeting all the NTR criteria. 1700hrs TT turboprop FO. Application is information based, no opportunity to write any personal info.

PFO 2 days later and left me thinking I now have no idea what they are after in that case. 200hr cadets I guess  :ugh: :ugh:

Whatever. Won't be wasting my time again with them.

Boeing Europe 22nd October 2013 14:03

Job-Seeker 26th October 2013 08:55

What about their open day in November?
Waste of time or worth a shot?

axl76fg 26th October 2013 15:37

Require Romanian passport...but then they write: if you not meet the min.req. you still welcome...so little bit tricky..for sure it's worth...but maybe waste fo time!..
who knows!?

Edit: did any of You knows for sure if the "romanian" passport take part of the Minimum requirements?

A320baby 26th October 2013 16:46

False Information there, On top of the 130 Euro you also get A base salary of 20/25k Per year, Still poor I know But hey... :ok::ok:

Woody12 26th October 2013 18:50

Salary is crap like hell!! If you want to commute, barely viable. I refused the contract because of this. Good luck if you want to join against any price.

Dox 27th October 2013 10:35

romanian passport

ok, but Romania is in EU, any european passport should be valid isn't it?

axl76fg 27th October 2013 17:52

Dox

That is not the point!

vsersen 27th October 2013 18:11

EU passport should be valid because Romania is in EU?

Do you think that I have with A320 rating better chances?

Flying Clog 28th October 2013 05:08

You bloody muppets only had yourselves to blame accepting those sort of salaries. Just don't accept it, force Wizz to increase their salaries to market rates. Your  it up for the rest of us you plonkers.

I'm a senior First Officer in Hong Kong and my monthly package is 160,000 HKD, or about 16,000 euros. Consisting of 8000 euros salary and 8000 euros housing allowance, both subject to 17% tax. I wouldn't get out of bed for less.

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Bealzebub 28th October 2013 06:36

Not really the same thing though, is it? Only six months ago you were stating:

Been in HK about 5 years after 5 years on a base (UK). Don't do it. The carrot has turned rotten. The only way to take the HK posting is to take the housing, live in rabbit hutch, and commute. End of.

How funny from Beazlebub.

A large slice of humble pie or carrot cake I think, if you can afford it of course!
