I don't get the 27 years old bracket. I thought it was 33 years max as they say on their website. Did they change their mind?

I dont know where you guys get all these theories from about 27 years old and hellenic air force guys. Exactly the opposite, the guys from the air force no longer have an insentive to go to commercial carriers in Greece because with the new laws they will lose their retirement wage from the air force. So you can forget that, ton of nonsence!

Aegean will give priority to guys/gals with type ratings and if they still have spots to fill then they will hire low houred non-rated guys/gals. Its as simple as that...

Costa, the only age limit is "candidates with no previouse airline experience up to 33 years old" thats the only age limit stated in the criteria for applying on the website. If you DO have airline experience, you may apply regardless of your age.

Im not sure were 27 years came from either, perhaps its a mistake because its clear on the website when you go to the Greek site... :ok:

Has anyone been invited for assessments?

I haven't heard anything yet, but with the deadline being Oct 15th i would expect them to start calling after that date.

Aegean is starting it's selection process on Monday, best of luck to all :)

SW1, has everybody been invited? Didn't get an email yet. I also have a type rating.

The tests are scheduled for Monday so not sure if they are still inviting people. I know a couple of people with type ratings have not been invited ( they failed their assessments back in 2009) so it looks like people who have not sat the tests before.

I could be wrong with that, but I know one person who is going without the TR( Instructor hours).

my understanding is that there will be groups of people being invited slowly.Also i have low hours and no TR, so be patient i guess.

A friend who has been to previous assesments and now passed has been emailed informing him that his application has not been accepted. So maybe those that are re-apps aren't accepted anymore.
