Poor pilots...
The incident ocurred at such a low altitude that the co-pilot had no time to do anything. And effectivelly the Captain did everything well done. Great job !! And , is normal that the Captain takes all the congratulations.Isnīt the Captain the only one cruscified when things go wrong?? Thatīs life. |
When contracted about Sullenberger's concerns, the Air Transport Association, which represents the principle U.S. carriers, had no comment.
And that, my friend, speaks volumes . . . ONTPax |
What about the fact that NO2 was still working despite being on fire, whilst NO1 was already dead?
Airbus logic dictated the rest, engine fire becoming the priority on the warning system. Just asking the question. I think once they were in that position, they performed admirably, if only the Concorde crew had been able to make that leap in their mindset that 'this is going to be a crash' rather than try to stretch it out to a runway. Well done Sully and crew. |
Siverhawk, you can't compare the Hudson River accident with the
Concorde accident. |
