You even make my point stronger. The guy should go for the 747 right now, when he is young. This way he will enjoy the a/c, the long-haul and everything, while he can still cope with fatigue and ever changing schedule.

After his enthusiasm subsides, he can go look for t&c. I also see myself leaving the 747 for a more "life-stylish" a/c and/or airline, but for the time being, I am happy. I know that if I will fly a 737 or 320 and see the 747 taxi by I'd be wishing I was in the 74...

Indead lifestyle is what matters in the end, but depending on how you cope with L/H rosters and your T&Cs it can be an adventure. Unluckily I am a bit affected by the time change and circadian rythms when I travel far away, making me wonder a bit how long I could last in the LH buisiness. At this moment I am enjoying a lifestyle roster with my operator, Im based in my home town, etc, plus expect a LHS in a few years. Nevertheless I see as if I dont make a move now into the 747 I will never get a glimpse after Im in the LHS of the 737. Im still in my 20´s and theres always many years to be in the LHS, but maybe I wont have many chances of getting my hands on heavymetal afterwards,
