I know this had been discussed in earlier forums and the whole topic seemed to float in a limbo of uncertainty...I also searched for newer posts so forgive me if I missed them...

What is the take home pay of a EZY pilot based in Italy?

...the answer is: we don't know!
So far we've been seconded here on the standard UK ezy contract with UK taxes. Very soon we'll be transferred to an Italian contract that we still haven't seen. A proposal from the company has been sent to BALPA and still has to be negotiated and approved. Rumor has it that this proposal is not exactly fantastic. One potential problem is that we're on our own here in Italy and the majority of UK colleagues don't seem to be too concerned about the whole local contract issue. Ask again in a month or two...
