Aussie 14th December 2007 22:51

Do a search mate, its been done recently.

From what i remember, your bonded for 5yrs...

Dentist 16th December 2007 07:49

Wizz

Screaming for Cpt's, 5 year bond.
Pay - 36000 Euro per year ( first 6 months) plus 60 Euro per sector
then 40 000 Euro per year plus 60 Eu per sector
I believe a pay rise of 2000 Euro per year and 3 Euro per sector after every 1000 Hrs with the company.
Cheers

volare_737 16th December 2007 15:08

How many sectors ber months ? Just to get an idea.
Where can one be based ?
Thnaks guys !

qvintus53 16th December 2007 18:06

Wizz says minimum 400 sectors / year

Dentist 16th December 2007 18:41

Wizz

So the ave of 33 sectors a month, from what my buddies say, they fly max Hrs. Bases in Poland are WAW, KTW, POZ and GDN. WAW and KTW are pretty full from what I know.
Cheers

Hi, thanks chaps, useful info. What is like this interview?
thanks for info

RYR-738-JOCKEY 18th December 2007 15:52

So 36000 + (400x60) = 60000 per annum. That's really, really bad.

Dentist 18th December 2007 16:20

Bad but not that bad for this area of Europe buddy..

adwjenk 18th December 2007 16:45

Any chance of them taking low hour non type rated pilots onto the A320???
I think many a year ago they did a scheme with storm aviation but had a look around and cannot find anything.
If anyone can info would be appreciated.

Salary

I think the salaries being mentioned are 'on paper'. Have heard from fairly reliable sources that it is more than mentioned above.

Can anyone confirm if there is a Ljubljana base? If this is so, how many aircraft are based there?

Anyone have an idea of how the roster works? Over nights etc. Avge hours flying per year. Are they looking for F/o'S?

SF

Dentist 18th December 2007 19:08

Trying to achieve 6 on 4 off, no overnights.

mr bojangles 18th December 2007 23:27

hi Dentist, would they consider B737 time in excess of 1500hrs and FAA license for First Officers.

I currently reside in budapest and would appreciate any info.

Thanks in advance

Aussie 18th December 2007 23:35

Yes they would mate. Put ya app in, you have nothing to loose, and everything to gain.

bighotrick 19th December 2007 07:27

Storm & Wizz

I spoke with STORM about their recent ad for non-TR A320 crew. For a Turbo-Prop CPT (4,000 HRS / 1,500 Command) they wanted £14,000 for the TR. You would not be paid until you had finished Line Training, and then bonded for minimum 1 year contract to WIZZ, based in Hungary / Poland.

Single Flasher 19th December 2007 11:03

Bighotrick. Was that for F/O or for Captain?

SF

saab340ryder 19th December 2007 21:50

Ljubljana will neber be wizz's base....reason is simple, they are moving out of there. They have already canceled route to London and there are roumors that also time is counted to route toBrussels.

But on the other hand it can happen that there some day will be in Zagrab...Croatia

Then look at "about us" on the top right.

mr bojangles 20th December 2007 10:11

Thanks Oxidant

mr bojangles :ok:

Single Flasher 21st December 2007 15:26

Hey Saab340Ryder

Is Ljubljana a base at the moment? I understand the adds in Flight were for a Ljubljana base and in FlightGlobal it is advertising for Capts in a Slovenja.
Anyone else with info on this?

SF

Oxidant 21st December 2007 15:37

There was an error in the adds placed in Flight International. If you want to see which bases are on the cards for next year... Just look at the company website. Wizz are very open about their prospective plans.

stansdead 22nd December 2007 13:09

single flasher

On what basis do you have that information? Do you just refuse to work for that low a wage?

mr bojangles 22nd December 2007 19:24

Spoke to wizzair pilots at ferihegy Airport today in Budapest, looks like a good operation with a bright future.

Employment drive is high with the airline.

Single Flasher 24th December 2007 10:01

Hi Stansdead.

I happen to have a well paid job at the moment but would like to change countries. Will accept a pay cut within reason to acheive this. Wizz have some interesting bases.
I spoke with an Ex Wizz pilot not so long ago and was told of a pretty good deal. He was with a contracting firm however, not directly with Wizz. Didn't get any names of the contract company sorry if that is what you were after.

Sim Eval

Hi Gents,
I have a simulator evaluation with Wizz Air on the roster next month (DE Captain) and was wondering if anyone has any information on the profile used? Engine failures, steep turns...etc? I've done quite an extensive search but to no avail.
Any information would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers!
