SQ 777 basings in Oz. Whats the catch?

Just received my copy of Flight where I read SIA MRU want 777 drivers based in SYD BNE and PER. Oz$206,000 p.a. for SYD based and $168,000 for the rest. This isnt bad money assuming you can avoid Oz tax.

However, apart from the fact its SQ, whats the catch?

The catch is, the ATO will catch you.

The 2nd catch is that there are no jobs!
It's a 'fishing trip' by SQ. I applied with all their requirements and much more and just got the 'Sod Off' e.mail by return.

Read the Ad carefully. B777 bases are Perth and Brisbane only not Sydney. B777 pay is AUS$ 168,000 not AUS$ 206,000. The Sydney base is for B747-400 drivers at AUS$ 206,000, less approximately 48% tax of course.
