Hi Guys,
I heard enroute that Jade is recruiting and their terms and conditions
improved dramatically.
They don't pay in the local currency anymore, and more things improved.
Does anybody know the exact T&C's?

35 Annexes to the Employment Agreement

Annex A – Gross Salary Table

The Employee shall be employed as:
First Officer
and shall receive a monthly Gross Salary consisting of
(numbering only for reference, all values in CNY):
(A) Standard Salary
including minimum guaranteed fifty (50)
Block Hours pay 38,800.00 per month
(B) irregular payment in addition to
Standard Salary
Block Hour pay Block Hour fifty one (51)
to eighty (80) 310.00 per Block Hour
Block Hours pay above Block Hour eighty (80) 794.00 per Block Hour
(C) office duty compensation 3 Block Hours per office day
(Block Hour credit per office day)
(D) loyalty bonus 345,600.00 one time

I did a check on the latest Chinese Tax scales and its top rate is 35%. Couldnt find anything related to expats. Anyone know what kinda tax scale expats pay? Any deductions? Ta.

Tax scale in China

They can only tax your salary and that is why there are so many allowances. It works out to about 16% of your base salary. Shenzen Airlines get paid in Macau so they don't pay taxes but they have many problems dealing with the banks.
