Ryanair Recruitment

Please do not use this thread for giving off about Ryanair.. .I would like to find out how many people have got a job with them since they introduced the new procedures, of those people, how many have been offered a contract after the 50 sector/type rating contract, and if possible the pay during those 50 sectors.. .cheers

I can only answer the first of your questions:

Since the new policy wa introduced in November 2001, 30 pilots have been recruited. I'm sorry I can't help you out with moer info, but it might tell you on the FR website.

Flintstone 4th February 2002 16:33

Were those 30 all people who registered and paid their £50 or were some/all of them already in the system?

six.sigma 4th February 2002 16:39

Everyone of the 30 pilots hired registered and payed their processing fee.

Flintstone 4th February 2002 16:48

Is that coincidental or was the old database deleted?

six.sigma 4th February 2002 17:20

As was made clear at the time the old database was deleted

What I would like to know is can you get a 737 endorsement from the US that is recognized by the JAA?? Its just that its a lot cheaper over there!

Maximus and Flintststone – What is it with you people are you against the fee or for the fee?….I get so confused with this Ryanair bashing you whinge when they charge it and now you whinge when you claim they don’t charge it .

What’s the alternative? BA announce a further gouge of staff with 5800 job losses as they attempt redefine their corporate future size and pear shape – whatever that might mean. Meanwhile a couple of hundred miles away in Frankfurt Hahn these Paddy Upsatrts are showing the Germans what low fares are all about - with new routes, new aircraft and yes lots of Pilot jobs – even if it does cost you £50.

Hogg 15th February 2002 21:27

What u mean by "Paddy Upstarts"????

Flintstone 16th February 2002 01:49

SIMDATE.

What is it with you? Are you against the Irish or for the Irish?....I get so confused with your supporting Ryanair while at the same time calling them Paddy Upsatrts (sic) and upsetting Hogg :)

I think you owe him an apology.
