hello....

can you plz state what are the total hours required to upgrade from f/o to capt if you work for these airlines .

Well, to jump ship and join Air Berlin from my current company and get an upgrade in the process i need 2000 hours on my current type (737-500/300), 3000 total, that is enough to get a cross-upgrade to the 'bus or a straight upgrade on the -700/800. As far as i know the same is true for internal upgrades, dunno about the chances for cross-upgrades but that might be a bit more difficult.

Concerning Condor, it's a hypothetical question cause you have to be in the seniority-list, means already First Officer within LH company.

Anyhow, guess it's something around 3.000 hrs due to german law.

3000 hours, however it is seniority based and with the First Choice merger its anyones guess about time to command, possibly as much as 10 years.
