What is the standard take home for FOs and Captains in ezy if based in the continent.
I heard in Mxp the crews have to pay italian income taxes and that lowers the monthly take home to: Fo 3200 € and for Captains to 5500 €.
Is it so bad in the other bases? and are those salaries competive in the local market?

yep for a captain paying income taxes in Italy would be 10-12 thousands euros less a month and for a first officer about 6-7thousand.
But Balpa is working on it and the company knows this is not a very attractive package.

Anybody with more info on this. ? 10-12.000 euro's less per month ?? surely something is wrong .

Paris base will get you minus 20% of the take home pay compared to the UK.
You will have to pay "Securité Sociale" of 10% instead of NHS 5%, and an extra 14% mandatory to "CRPN" Pension Sheme.:=

Sorry I meant per year and this is not official, and bye the way the figures above are refering to italian income tax not national insurance or pensions like in paris (which I think is not a bad deal bcause at least you get 20% less but something back: French social security and French state pension for flight crew, which I heard is not too bad..)

Well you pay two times more to see the same doctor ! and it is not a French State pension, it is a private pension not covered by the state in case of bankruptcy which should happen in 10 to 15 years, it has more AF captains retirering than new joiners to the sheme. It is not a sheme based mainly on stocks (mostly on real estate),it's an old fashioned one ruled by social security:=
