Age 60/63/65 at Saudia?
 

Well, the Magic Nov 23 has come and gone...what changes, if any, have been brought about for the line, and SFS, regarding the above? Are both now extended to 63, or 65? What is the status of Capt. DM? Also, what further changes are anticipated? I figure Mutt is probably the best source, but I've seen precious little input from him...would appreciate any further update on Saudia City, Jeddah, Riyadh, etc. Thanks, Sam

Usual SNAFU....... No change to the rules, crews still around but removed from the payroll.

Yes, should have been posted in the Middle East area...my mistake. Around, but off the payroll? No visa problems??? Strange. Anyway, Mutt, thanks. Good to hear a friendly voice from the sandpit!

This finally came to an end, crews issued with 5 year contracts, age 60-65, they will remain flying FAR121 aircraft.

Correction to what i said in December, they remained on the payroll :):)

At least 1 Captain had 8 months off with full salary... The joys of working for a non-profit social engineering experiment :)
