Salaries at Qatar
 

I believe that qatar has just upped their salaries by 40% and that rated F/Os are now being offered 10,000 US$?
Is this true? :suspect:

I wish it could be true...! This will just compensate for the huge increase of the rent the last 3..4 years (some place the the rent has just Doubled!!).
but as far as i know no change:sad:

FO - US$7350 (single) & US$7650 (married)

All the above are pcm (tax free), & carry all the usual benefits offered by airlines in the Mid East.

Because of the depreciation of the US$, this is still the same value as it used to be, and wont attract anyone more. You can easily make that amount of money in any other currency with any other airline with a similar fleet. And if you need tax free you can chose an off-shore contract.

Where exactly do you pay 4100 US for a house and 2800 US for a flat?
Where exactly do you spend 250 US just for ordinary shopping at the grocery shop. Before you open up your mouth again just come over to Qatar and be a part of the ripoff. Just one more question How much do u save in Europe or in KUL and how much in Qatar, bearing in mind there's no pension. Don't fall on the figure make the math. :ugh:No pay rise yet!!! It's for sure.

10 000 US$ are about 7500€. You get 8000€ with Vueling or 70 000 £ at EasyJet. This is more. 10 000 US$ you get for any contract in the world on a A320.

btw you also pay rents on this level in Switzerland, Hongkong, Singapore or London.
