Airline employment in the EU

In theory employment by airlines should be equal around the European Union by law. For example a British citizen applying for a job as a pilot in Germany, should be considered equal to a German citizen. However in reality is this the case?

No...everyone has their own sandbox and likes to protect the toys in it. In our case, our esteemed flight ops department overruled the wizard of pilot selection and we now have the Frenchies, the Italians a couple of Swiss and a few Germans. All conversation is done in Chinglish:E . Major problems we have is the lack of infrastructure for this in Czech-o-land. Putting on my EU hat....disregarding all the other BS...how is it that our fellow colleagues pay FULL taxes to the god of income redistribution and then are turned away at hospitals for 'not having insurance'?
Ooops, gotta go, got a slot!:ugh:
