Non-Rev on BA out of DEL

Am trying to Non-Rev on BA out of DEL. Has anyone done this before?

Usually I walk to the ticket counter but in DEL the counters itself are beyond security and unless you have a paper ticket with the date printed security will not let you through.

Any thoughts?

Non rev DEL

Shon7 - assume you don't work for BA. You'll need to get your ticket from your company then go to an economy desk. Before this went double daily we used to leave loads of BA people behind - not sure of current situation.

Good luck

Could you explain what you mean by Non-Rev. Do you just want a free flight, or do you work for a company that has an interline agreement with BA? If you are on an ID90%, ID75% or ID50% then your company should have issued you a paper ticket. Even BA staff have these ex DEL. Perhaps if we have some more information then we can help.

Work for an airline that has an Interline. The paper ticket (ID 50) is issued but it is an open ticket -- no specific dates on it.

I can now see your problem but don't have a solution. Perhaps you could phone BA to waitlist yourself and request that they e-mail or fax you conformation. Have you tried asking to see a security supervisor and being escorted to the ticket counter? Perhaps you could contact the crew when they arrive at the airport and ask them to give a message to the BA ground staff? Is there a town office that you can visit to get a date put on your ticket? Sorry that I can't be of any more help.

Shon - As Aircules said best phone BA or visit town office to list. If they won't do this don't worry. Just turn up with the open ticket and ID and list at the check in desk. BA staff does this all of the time. If you PM me with your dates - I'll check your chances.
