I did start a thread on, it ran for while on the Airports and Airlines forum before falling foul of the usual Jet2 bashers and a few LBA types with blinkerd vision who could only see it being good for LBA and not how bad it will be for BOH and Jet2

I did do a quick search but found nothing that's why I asked. Its just that we have basically hi-jacked this thread originally about LPL and FR.

In any case.... you rant away as much as you like. Personally I think you are quite justified. With regards to the those at Echo Golf Northern Monkey - it might well be good move for the airport..... it most certainly is not a good move for the company..... Time will tell.

LCM Thanks for your support, I have had many similar responses from flight deck during normal day-to-day contact and we at BOH do appreciate your concerns. We will try to keep things running smoothly while we are still in the loop, however what happens after November, who knows.

Sorry for the thread hyjack, but it seems to have kept the usual Jet2 bashers away !

It was me that started the thread, and I've absolutely no problems with it being hijacked!

What you have at Bournemouth is almost unique in the airline world and I just hope it survives the move, otherwise the reasons why so many of us enjoy Jet2 will cease to exist. Good luck to you all, and those of you have to bear the pain of moving or redundancy, our thoughts are very much with you.

Incidentally, if you dare say, what are your thoughts on the TGWU covering all Jet2 staff, in the air and on the ground? Suggest move to the Jet2 Sector Pay thread.........
