GB Operate Charter Schedules!
 

Seems GB have gone the way of the charter airline and the schedule for this summer has an awful lot of night flights.....

Earliest report of 0445Z.... Night flight to PFO..... Large number of flights not returning to LGW until 0230Z.....

Can't see many taking this news too well.

Sadly GB is not the company it once was. We used to work a nice sensible roster and rarely got called on standby. Now it's just hard slog - 100 hour months in the summer are quite commonplace with frequent standby call-outs and the winter is still pretty busy (75 - 80 hours typically). The BALPA agreed annual limit is 775, but the management are hell-bent on getting 900 !
