Q400 deliveries
 

Does anyone know when the new Q400's are going to be delivered to Flybe? And where they are going to be based?

What's the purpose of the question?

Ten being delivered through 2006. I guess that the bulk will go to Norwich, which is opening as a base in March, I think. It's all still up for grabs because some new routes (GLA-LPL, EXT-LPL, BHD-NWI) haven't been as successful as was hoped. The commercial boss is a pretty switched on kid, though, so it's not a source of worry.

It'll be interesting to see where they do end up because we've got lots coming and they're going to have to go somewhere? Volunteers for Toulouse basing................?

BTW - apparently global demand for the Q400 is so strong that Bombardier are to ramp production up to a delivery every nine days next year!

I doubt that more than a couple of Dashes will go to NWI, at least until the base is proven anyway.
