Can any bmi mainline pilots tell me what the situation is with the A330 pilots at Manchester, is this a base or are you LHR based and nightstopped prior to operating the next morning out of MAN?

Any foreseeable recruitment taking place soon?

I'm a bmi pilot.......... and if anyone out there can tell me the situation overall, i'd love to hear it :confused:

BMI do have a few pilots based in Manchester however the vast majority are lhr based and are paxed up to nightstop the day before each trip.
I dont think they will let anyone else move up to Man now as another 330 is moving to London leaving only 1 in Man.
This is fact as cabin crew have now been rostered their 767 courses for the charter aircraft which they will be leasing for some of the routes. Which ones? Who knows??? The rumour is The 330 will do Chicago and Vegas. 767 will do caribean and chicago (on the days the 330 is doing vegas).
