Charter Airlines - Winter Season

I understand that some charter airlines have agreements with other airlines to share/lease pilots over the winter period.

Does anybody know :

Which airlines do this ?
Who do they have contracts with over this period ?
Aircraft used e.t.c ?

Any other info from the pilots perspective during the winter season such as routes, time away from base e.t.c would be appreciated.

Excel provide pilots to Ryanair over the winter months - why do they play it this way? Well in some cases they give the type rating, better to "loan" a guy out and be a little more certain he will be "yours" again the following spring than lose him completely.

But what salary does they get when flying for Ryan? I am under the impression that the XL-guys have about half the salary compared to Ryan?
