BA Airbus Course Info

Pse could anyone help me with a couple of questions.....

1. How long is the groundschool and is there some sort of initial induction into BA type course at the start?

2. Is the groundschool run Monday to Fridays or does it run over the weekends? I'm just trying to sort accommodation out.

3. Any other tips/advice greatly appreciated...

Thanks in anticipation.....

Not sure about the airbus, but I think it is fairly similar to others.

7 working days induction (inc CRM & SEP etc). Groundschool in the region of 12 working days - flexible working times with the fixed base sim sessions the only required 'in' times. All monday to friday. Once on full flight SIM it is variable days / times.

cheers

When does your airbus course start, I am on a course starting 21st April and was hoping to have had some more info through about timetables and things. Nothing as yet though.

I start on the 21st aswell! When I spoke to them they said the course info was usually sent out about two weeks before the start date.

Hope you chaps don't like weekends.

Behind the Midland,

Doesn't make any difference to me, the airline that I am with at the moment operates 6 on 2 off roster. Last time I had a weekend off was a good few months ago and then that was just lucky. Might as well get paid twice as much to work my weekends.

:)

Fair enough.

I suppose as crap as life may be at the bottom of the bus there is considerably !!!!ter jobs out there.
