Will the airline pay your salary directly into an account based in another EU country?

No.

But you could have it paid into a semi-offshore account in say Jersey or Guernsey for example.

I'm a Non-Resident and have it paid into a Citibank account in the UK which I then transfer to a Citibank account in Fance with no charge applied.
