Sugest you review all the other pages on here, such as the R + N DHL SAM thread, cabin crew forum bout Basra, freight dogs etc. Weigh up how much your life is worth, how much you need this job and whether your lifestyle matches.
There are always other jobs, but evidence does tend to point to this being your only go at life.

One would assume that your company is not providing services at normal rates. but that is often confidential commercial info. Finding out how much the insurance is loaded is probably easier, they are the experts at risk assessment after all. Would give you some basis for negotiation - if you really need to go.
