Any information about Vbird, the new Dutch lowcost...

Have the got all the crew?.. How is the terms? Anybody
knows if the got the cash to run the airline.. And is there
a market in this area????

They have all their crews right now (initially they will utilize leased Dutchbird crews).

The terms are !!!!!, 3000 euro BEFORE tax for FO's and not much more for captains.

Apparantly there is 20 million yuro's in cash, half of which is planned to be used for advertising.:uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh:
Gotta pay for your rating etc. etc...

The main man is the former boss of KLM exel, which is not doing great and has a reputation of treating crew like dogs.

If you plan a longterm future somewhere : don't go there!

I have always wondered about the chance of succes of a low cost carrier in Maastricht and Niederrhein, but the salary level mentioned by finalschecks clearly explains the seriousness of the whole operation. :yuk:

I really doubt that this project will come off the ground if they start like this. :rolleyes:
