Hope you are senior to me!:D

But I guess you won't be the first to leave.:(

CloudWarrior 7th Aug 2003 21:49

Can't say I blame you whoops! The reasons for staying get shorter every year!

tailscrape 8th Aug 2003 00:27

**** me. It is equally bad wherever you look! Things do get worse seemingly as every year passes.

That said, any of you MON boys know if there will be any LTN 757 RHS jobs this year?

Type rated and current, and junior enought to want to join....:O

Ten years plus to Command is probably not helping!

Alloy 13th Aug 2003 05:29

Ten years and a very big PLUS............!

orange_bubble 13th Aug 2003 23:29

How long does it take to get a command in VS?

If you want to be pissed off but in the left hand seat quickly- join easyJet.

I think almost all the post 9/11 demoted Captains have now been re-promoted so we appear to be back to where we were pre 9/11. With no additional airframes it's likely to be dead mans shoes - perhaps 9 - 12 years for new joiners at a guess but you never know.... ;)

From the above link:

<<But a source at the airline said it had not shut the door on Boeing, which is eager to find a British customer for the recently launched larger versions of its fast-selling 777 twinjet>>

Oh dear - what will happen to the "4 Engines 4 LH" logo?!*!
