Application Qatar Airways

Hallo everybody,

I made an application at Qatar Airways as a F/O A330.

(I have an ATPL JAR and am type rated on the A330,A340).

Can anyone tell me more about the company, about the atmosphere , general information...

All sorts of comments are welcome.....

Greetings.

Rotorburster,

Have a look on the Middle East Forum, and even better ask your question there.
I have heard a lot of Belgiums, ex-Sabena,ex-City Bird, ex-Brussels International are flying with Qatar Airways. (Pilots and Cabin Crew)

Good luck with your application.

Would they employ Englands, Frances, Mexicos and Germanys too?

Justice Too 11th Mar 2003 17:56

Agaricus Bisporus,

What a stupid answer, the person that opened the post is an ex-Sabena First Officer A-330/340 and he is still unemployed so let's help this fellow pilot!

How would you feel if you were unemployed?

Do you know any position for him???

Kind Regards,

Justice Too.

China Airlines in Taiwan are expanding and are looking for experienced pilots on all fleets. Try there.

Hi Guy's,

well I had contact with CAL a couple of days ago but they don't
require A340 anymore this year (although things might change).

Anyhow , as they prefer type rated pilots anyway, a chance to
reconvert into another type is very small...and they have a
few thousand applications in their recruitment database already.

Thanks for the tip.

Hey Justice Too,

Bit quick off the mark with your attack on Agaricus Bisporus. Suggest you RTFQ. He was having a bit of fun at your poor use of the English language I fear.

Belgiums are a lot of Belgium NOT the inhabitants of that country, who are normally referred to as Belgians.

Hence the quite clever and witty comment about the Englands etc......

Keep it Kool.
