European Cargo
Can anyone confirm the pay scales for European Cargo? Seen something on ppjn but is that up to date?
There's no application link on their website either. How do I apply? |
No idea, but you could always drive down to Bournemouth and nip in to reception. Used to have dealings with them, years ago, I always felt they were happy to take the direct option.

Try [email protected] I believe a recent pay rise takes the F/O pay to about 80K and Captains to about £130 plus the usual per diems/pension/loss of licence/private medical etc..

I emailed then got a link for a form to complete. Any clues about the selection process? |
Relaxed interview with a couple of recruitment pilots. Mainly just a chat with some minor technical stuff. That’s it, no sim.
First officer starting salary is £81900 rising to £85800 once the 4th aircraft begins flying (imminent). Plus per diems, pension, LOL, medical etc. |

What are the rosters like ?
The contract is for 144 days off a year so should average out at 12 days a month. At present that isn’t quite being achieved, with reserve being used for flexibility due to a shortage in numbers, but this should ease in the next few months with continual recruitment. |
Hi.
Would anyone like to share what life is like working for them? How much time do you have off between trips? Average monthly per diems? Typical number of standby’s or reserve per month? Many thanks |
the operation currently has 1 contract to China, with 1 operational aircraft ( 2 -1 AOG?), is that correct? How long after gaining employment are contracts offered?
|
There are actually 3 aircraft currently flying with the 4th due to start next month I believe, with a plan to have 6 or 7 flying by the end of the year. Recruitment is ongoing for the foreseeable future

Stopping off in Vienna in order to carry more freight out of Hainan. It also creates an extra 2 sectors available for line training, which is a bit of a bottleneck at the moment
|
That’s actually good thinking.
