UK CAA Designated EASA TRE's after Brexit

Now that the UK has officially left the EU/EASA and my Proficiency Check (LPC) looming in the next couple of months,
Can I continue to go to an ATO in Europe (FSI Paris or LFT Zurich) and have the simulator check performed by an EASA Examiner who was designated by the UK CAA to do so, have them sign my UK licence page like they did last year?

Is there a transition period before all of this ends or did this procedure stop on 1st Jan 2021 for UK Licence holder.

Hope someone can shine some light on this issue.

From UKCAA

EASA Part-FCL/BFCL/SFCL Examiners who hold an examiner certificate issued by an EASA member state will be able to continue to undertake Skill Tests, Proficiency Checks and/or Assessments of Competence, for the period of its validity up to a maximum of two years.

The examiner certificate must have been issued prior to 31 December 2020 and test notification requirement have been met. We will be unable to accept retrospective test notification.

Yes.

Following wording from CAA eu exit microsite:

EASA Part-FCL/BFCL/SFCL Examiners who hold an examiner certificate issued by an EASA member state will be able to continue to undertake Skill Tests, Proficiency Checks and/or Assessments of Competence, for the period of its validity up to a maximum of two years.

Alongside that they should probably also hold the following validation letter which validates their licence for uk purposes.

Thank you for your reply. That's a relief to know :ok:

You don't need to go to an ATO if the rating is still valid (revalidation) or leave the UK if that's where you are based.
