Warsaw Aviation and Ryanair?
A dull Sunday question, but saw an advert for Ryanair Sun recruitment recently - and the 'Warsaw Aviation' logo attached to the advert? curious - does anyone know who they are? what sort of Terms and conditions do they offer? i'm guessing they are very competitive and enticing given current market conditions being tough to recruit and retain air crew in a very buoyant marketplace. But seems no information by using the usual search engines. Is this a new agency perhaps that intends to supply aviation personnel to many other European carriers?.

Two days ago I heard from a former colleague still with FR,
the individual is a flight attendant. They just had a meeting where they were informed that as of Jan 2019; There will be no more regular FR.bases in Poland. They were given a deadline until 30.09.2018 to sign up with RyanairSun, lest they be fired by 01.01.2019. Terms faced? Full on bogus self employment, same as flight deck has been struggling with. I can only imagine what life is gonna be like for them, as I struggled massively to survive on flight deck pay. Now they have to pay high employers taxation for themselves on top of getting paid pennies. Competetive? The forum won't allow me to swear enough to convey my stance on that. So let's just say; NO. |
I predict Polish cc will be on strike soon...

its a shocking attempt at RYR to contractor-ise an entire country. All pilots and CC must become zero hour agency workers with no pension/sick/holiday pay.
Even written in the contract is up to 400e fine for a late check in for duty, or an unauthorised absence. everyone predicted ryr sun would become the even lower cost arm of ryr, and it has become true. They will operate all RYR based flights in poland. Crews been told to sign new contract or get out of poland. Even new cabin crew being offered this deal from the cabin crew school are only being offered temp contracts... I gather its gone down like a lead ballon, and they have formed a union, and the new eastern front at RYR has been formed! |
Thanks for replies thus far. Oh dear, does sound a lot like RYR is in self-destruct mode in that case! AGM this week, it could be a good chance for the board to clear out the "dead wood" at the top and start afresh with new ideas and fresh faces throughout the company, get rid of the "any publicity is good publicity" merchants etc. as lets face it - sadly the image RYR has is getting worse by the minute and the share price since May 2018 is generally on the way down - the board has the chance to arrest this descent IMHO with some good, firm decisions.

A leopard cannot change its spots....... MoL cannot change the way he's running the company
|
Just shows how much MOL has lost his grip on reality. When company profits are €1bn, staff and unions are trying hard to make the company a decent place to have a career, and he’s still trying to screw people over. Nothing meaningful will ever change until he is booted out by any sensible and long term looking investors. |

Give old molly his dues, he did a fantastic job in creating the beast that is ryanair, but they are now too big to have the same infrastructure that they have when they had just 10 800s...they need more than 2 girls on crew control, more than rostering sticking plasters, look after ltc's more, stop this contrator rubbish, they are now an operation with over 15,000 staff, they now have to grow some corporate and social responsibility. Sadly, the entire current management, from the very top all the way down to the cabin crew supervisors are so poisoned in their way of thinking of how to "manage", it makes one wonder if the ship can be turned around. |
