Thanks

trancada 17th Jun 2017 22:52

what are the T&C’s?

latecoere240 18th Jun 2017 04:54

It's a pay to fly airline running with eaglejet.. you should better look cityjet.. it seems they are looking for CRJ captains/ FO.

WTON 19th Jun 2017 13:47

Rostering 25/5 salary 5119 with using an agency

trancada 19th Jun 2017 17:23

25 days on, 5 days off per month?

latecoere240 20th Jun 2017 12:37

you can info (but not that much) on : Nordica pilot jobs news for airline pilots and aviation schools

Is it 5119 before or after tax ? You can use this calculator to have an estimate of your wage accordingly :
Salary/Wage and Tax Calculator - Estonia, Latvia

BlueVolta 21st Jun 2017 01:35

It is 5119 gross gross gross....and then you deduct everything!

Very low T & C, unless you want to get some specific experience and then move elsewhere....

Shafting by the sounds of it

tescoapp 13th Sep 2017 13:13

You paid through an agency then you need your own local company then pay yourself through that.

Mine wage is something like 400euro which is taxed at 50%. And gives you local health insurance then the rest taken as a dividend at 21%.

They are screaming for crew, there may be a bit of a pretend play at some form of selection but if you have a license and are willing to take the conditions then your in.

Intrance 14th Sep 2017 06:38

Screening is fairly standard AFAIK, but it's still not a case where everyone gets through. Selection continues all through the process and people have been dropped during sim/line training as well for failing to live up to standards expected. It's not a "you've got a pulse and a license, good enough" company.

Terms and conditions are the main con, depending on your personal situation it ranges from just livable to pretty OK and being able to get some savings, but it's not up to industry standard. If stuck on turboprops and looking for a jet job it can be a decent option, or for experienced FO's the chances for a quick upgrade are quite good. Not too many overnights and usually only one night away at a time, if you get based in Tallinn you'll be home most nights. Also worth something perhaps.

Hello, how was your assessment? Could you tell me something about
really thanks

Cough for me 13th Feb 2018 15:38

That's exactly how I think about it, couldn't agree more! It's always great to hear somebody else shares the same outlook about things like this.
I guess it's inevitable but the longer we can suppress the idea the better.

flyinthesky69 10th Mar 2018 12:58

Do you have details about ATR Commander salary?

Hi there , how did the assessment go ? Can you shed some light on the stages, what questions to expect on the theory part?

Icare31 11th May 2018 16:44

Hi all,

I would like to have some feedback regarding the screening process: HR interview, technical exam and profile for the sim evaluation.
Thanks for sharing the information

blue skies!!

SanHor 11th May 2018 17:38

Was in contact with Confair about there First Officer positions for Nordica in Groningen.

The requirement is 1500hrs. So they request experience from applicants.

Then the salary for F/O will be:
0-1250 €1750 base €33 extra per hour >70hrs
1250-2000 €2450 base €47 >70
2000-3000 €2590 base €49 >70
3000+ €2730 base €52 >70

Asked Confair if my previous experience would be eligable for the above pay scheme...they couldn’t confirm...

I thanked politely for their offer and explained that experience comes at a price. And the offer wasn’t attractive enough for me personally.

Wilco123 13th May 2018 06:28

Anybody has done the Screening recently ?

Deporflyer 17th Jul 2018 10:04

Assesment

25 questions ATPL, various things. It was all from the EASA question bank.
interview with HR, straight forward questions, why aviation ? Describe yourself in 3 words, why Nordica? Etc.
SIM: steep turns, changes of direction, maintain alt and speed. ILS app and S/E app

United_777 14th Sep 2018 10:16

I'm doing the assessment next week, does anyone have some last minute advice? For example how was the questions like, mostly techical? Whats subjects should I study more? Any advice would be much appreciated!

zainrasab 15th Sep 2018 21:25

United_777 I'm also doing the assessment next week, what have you been revising?

wa55a 17th Sep 2018 17:22

I might be going to the assessment in a few weeks. It's been a while since I did my ATPL exams. I don't have the time to study all 12 courses again.
I was thinking about watching the CBT in:
1. POF
2. MET
3. PERF
4. HPL

Any other suggestions on how to best prepare?

Cheers

How was it?

Did you apply thru Nordica`s website or Eaglejet?

Deporflyer 29th Jan 2019 22:26

don't bother with these lot. Assesment is straight forward, ATPL, pretty easy, a bit of everything, can't remember exactly what the questions were. But as I said straight forward. Then HR questions, what motivates you? why Nordica? How would you cope with ****ty life in Estonia etc. Then SIM. You will be there with Tarno , he's a dick and also head of training. Expect windshear on take off, steep turns, and ils. Reposition and V1 cut. ILS N-1.
Conditions are absolutely rubbish.
if you start training, you will fail your SIM, no matter how good you are. You will be put on LIFUS, and before your final checkride, you will be sent to the SIM again. Why? The instructors are practically a mafia. They charge the company €800 per sim session. You do the math. The more people fail, the more they earn.
if you have nothing better to do, go and take it as a warm up for proper companies.
