Transavia are looking for captains

FYI: Transavia are looking for B737 captains to be based in Netherlands and Munchen, they pay really well.

bereboot 14th Mar 2016 14:51

Well , that's only DEC for Munchen base on different contract terms........

tripulante521 14th Mar 2016 20:16

The Employee shall receive a guaranteed fixed monthly gross salary of EUR 8.119,-. This basic salary is calculated on the basis of 55 block hours per month in the season from November 1 to April 30 and 65 block hours in the season from May 1 to October 31.

Is 8119 Euro gross for a 737 Captain really well?

Track 14th Mar 2016 21:16

Basic Terms:

Employed directly by Transavia on a permanent contract
Base pay start +/-8200 euro. Yearly increment € 600/month. Max +/- € 11200 base pay.
Flightpay 1% for every blok hour over 65 in summer / 55 in winter
7% pension paid by company
8% yearly bonus
All hotac and transport for training/ layovers paid + daily allowance
Staff travel, jumpseat arrangement on HV network
LOL insurance paid by company

Indeed DEC only MUC based.

After taxes paid, it is a pretty "average" contract payment wise (in fact pretty lousy compared to what has been coming up this last 2/3 mths ) in quite an expensive part of Europe, hence why positions have been constantly advertised/available for around +/- 5mths now. :hmm: & why they are using a substandard agency that was previously only a NAS bottom feeder.

OP doesn't really have much of an idea what constitutes being paid "really well" IMHO.

Clandestino 15th Mar 2016 15:52

I'd take it if it were monthly pay for 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.

correct Munich only available at the moment

lalbak 3rd Apr 2016 07:22

What about FO terms?

Scuderia46 3rd Apr 2016 13:25

All FO positions are filled already by people who are fine with earning 3100 euros before tax. Keep in mind that Holland and Germany are not cheap places to live. Look elsewhere.
