If you want to quote a previous post in your reply; how do you do it?

Copy the post and select the quotation icon from the bar above the reply box, paste the quote between the markers. Job done :ok:

Why would you want to quote the post directly above? It's pointless, and a complete waste of the forum's finite bandwidth. A post that's buried within alot of other replies, however, is a different story.
