Zenon B744
Hi,
Zenon is advertising after B744 pilots to a company in the Middle East, anyone care to speculate who that might be? |
Iraqi Airways.
|
Correct, Iraqi Airways.
Not only should this raise red flags for the airline and location, but also for the agency Zenon. The clown running Zenon is a former recruiter for Wynnwith. I say clown, because only a clown would stipulate contract conditions requiring the pilot to pay a fee to an offshore accountant in order to receive their salary! You will also have to sign a release to indemnify Zenon should you not be paid if the operation folds. However, you can rest assured that Zenon will have been paid all fees in advance. There will be a good chance the operation will fold at some point due to the continued legal action against any Iraq airline by the sate of Kuwait, including aircraft seizure at foreign locations. As a recruitment ploy, Zenon has even referred to a current article detailing this position in Airliner World magazine. The author states; "My current agency Zenon placed me with my current contract and has exceeded my expectation in looking after me..." Oh really, $10k per month as a B744 Captain to live and operate out of a war zone, is not what I would consider as being "looked after". Would you? |
Fold due to Iraq still owing Kuwait monies, employed by Iraqi Airways......well never let facts get in the way of a good story!!!! Legal action against Iraqi Airways Kuwait attempts to confiscate first Iraqi Airways plane to land in London in 20 years - eTurboNews.com Joining an operation where international lawyers are continually attempting to freeze all the assets of the airline, would not be be considered a wise career move. However, one must put food on the table. Zenon states that the B744 Captain pay for this position is $10K per month. It is possible that extra fees are paid for referral service. |
would not be be considered a wise career move |
Thanks guys,
Now I know. |
Not only should this raise red flags for the airline and location, but also for the agency Zenon. |
not the best command decision tflier.....
by the way I was the 'author'! Perhaps you could pen another article on the 'plundering' of the operation and how monthly salaries were grossly exceeded by some while others were not paid? Could you also include something about the rules pertaining to validated UK licenses and crew duty time limits? Duty times exceeded by how much!!! paid how much for doing it!!!! how often!!!! and those F/O's in the left seat too!!!! not to mention the Globespan geordie connection..:= (this won't be allowed at CLX!!!) |
Tommy Tilt,
Are you speaking with first hand knowledge about this Iraqi operation ? |
