The actual median salary (ie the most common

The point of this thread is is quite obvious; to compare pilots takehome pay. I've found it interesting and useful. As to whether it enhances our image, I don't know and I don't care! This is after all a pilots' forum and exactly the right place to discuss this topic.

I'm a CX wannabe, it seems that the pay with them is quite a bit higher than most posted so far, is that correct or am I missing something here?

LX 2nd year RHS RJ85/RJ1H, SFR 4400 (UKL 1680), including about SFR 300 (UKL 120) expenses.

On the bright side, I love the job and spend all my remaining SFR on flying the light VFR rubber driven stuff during my days off :)

Last months took home $2400 Cdn, which , as of the close of business on Fri Nov 3, is 1057 pounds. I have been in this job for 13 years. I must be doing this out of love, 'cause the money ain't making me rich!!
