XL Airways France Info

Howdy,

I been looking around the forums but can't find any relevant information regarding XL Airways (France) interviews for pilot recruitment.

I was given a date for i/view with short notice, and dunno much what to expect. Any documents or questions floating around the web?:}

Any help appreciated,

Thx.:ok:

You can bet your bottom dolar the first question will be "can you land with enough fuel to fill a lighter". Good luck thoe, good to hear an airline recruiting.

Yep, I guess these are new times coming regarding fuel issues, the answer is yes, but some paperwork will be required... Anymore things you can think about?

A someone who is flying an XL France contract at the moment I can't say that I have had any fuel issues at all, the plogs are well calculated on the safe side when it comes to fuel burn and unless bad weather Etc is expected I dont feel the need to as extra fuel.

nice company to work for from what I hear. Word is they will be looking to consolidate there fleet from 320's to 737 ngs might be of interest to you if even just for interview info.

Slightly off topic but, if the new 330's are going to XL UK, will XL France be doing the training, do they have a direct 330 training ticket, in fact who is doing the XL uk 330 training?

Todders 30th Jul 2008 17:47

XL france guys are currently training the first crop of xl uk pilots on the french 330 currently operating uk routes for xl uk.

Also some xl uk pilots are in france operating on the xl france 320 fleet to learn the scare bus. Eventually XL uk will have it's own training set up for the 330.
