Ryanair Dublin Pay Agreement - more money gone ??

Apparently a few weeks ago some Dublin pilots agreed to a new pay deal in which they were promised around €12,000 in 3-4 years unless Ryanair was forced to recognise a union in the following four years.

Recently the Italian courts said that Ryanair must deal with unions in Italy. I suppose what that means what I think it means ...... or does it? Anyone know?

I would say that ryanair will do what they always do, and appeal the decision. But they of course they always have the brockfield card to play, so if the unions come a knocking. the bases will simply be filled with contractors and the full time guys will find them selfs doing little or no flying till they either leave our do as MOL wishes. As to weather or not they will enforce the terms of the pay deal in dublin and other bases, i would say "not" as i believe that the cabin crew in rome commenced the court proceedings via there union prior to the last pay agreement. However i believe that there is to be a hearing in dublin in january regarding issues in dublin, the outcome of that may have a different effect.
