How does divorce affect your travel benefits?
Since it seems to be an across-the-board standard, I am wondering how a divorce affects an airline employee´s travel benefits for the "others" in his life.
For example, at my airline benefits are determined by marital status. If single, the parents get the nice full benefits on Other Airlines that would otherwise be exclusive to the spouse and under-age children. However, say an employee gets divorced, do his children lose the travel benefits, or are parents able to take them "in lieu" of the ex-spouse, or what typically happens? |
HI
In my airlines..SYRIANAIR...the travel benefits are set according to a certain quota...i.e, x number of tickets at free/ x% discount for the parents and another quota for the spouse and a third for under-age children..only the spouse will loose his/her travel benefits in case of a divorce |
What travel benefits?
Do you mean Touchdown? This response comes from Ryanair aircrew. |
Obvious: it halves the cost.

you think you will have money left to travel after you get divorced? :}
