Cheers, Mike

Hi Mike

Hi Mike! If it is Avcom Aviation Consortium you are looking for a Job, don't trust them...Still today I am waiting for 3 months of salary, expenses and other payments and I have no more contact to them. Its now all with my lawyer, which costs another time and money.
I am not the only one who was cheated by Avcom, just met another guy during a selection process, who also got not pay one year before.
I would recommend you to look for a proper Brooker...

Cheers

Avistar

ooh lala

Yeah.. heard something about the "not paying situation" that's why I asked around! On the other hand, some people are very positive about Avcom.. Didn't go for the contract anyway! Many thanks and good luck with getting some of that salary ;-)

thx anyway!! M

No web site, a hotmail adress.
I've been once stupid enough to trust them. It cost me a lot of energy and money to get my salaries paid.
Stay away

"Can they be thrusted"?

It sounds as if it is more than likely that it will be you who will be thrusted!

Mike, wait until we meet in CMN, may be able to show you some interesting comments in their contract. They mention explicitly that they do not have to pay you, if....:ugh:
They make arrangements without your consent, details of contract are held back until you agree to work for them on a strange form, and yes, once you receive the contract they require you to accept a contract with a US company and their laws to be applicable. :=
Stay away....far away!!!! :*
Tks for the contact recently...cu in the P. d'A.... :D

Anyone contemplating involvment with this Agency, (John Derrick, the Dryland father and son combination, come and join Ocean etc. etc.), would be well advised to incur no financial liability on AVCOM's promises of re-imbursement, they have an awful lot of mobile phones which are very quiet when the question of payment arises................................. All this apart from their knowledge and judgement over Ocean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gentlemen, if AVCOM try to get your interest, just go if atall possible, direct to the Principal.

Mike,

The answer to your query re the above AVCOM agency, as to can they be trusted is, sadly, NO:*:*:*:*:*. A whole bunch of bona-fide current 747 guys were recently led up the garden path and enticed into actually going over to Breschia, at their own expense, on John Derrick's personal assurance of re-imbursements for airport parking, air tickets and HOTAC in Breschia.

All for a supposed job with OCEAN, who must have known, along with good old John Derrick, and the Dave Drysland father and son double act from AVCOM, that Ocean were already tits-up.

I can't believe their sense opf judgement and knowledge of the current OCEAN situation was that deplorable, I think it was just a cynical excersise by them to get the guys over there and screw (hopefully) their commission out of the Italians.

I wouldn't touch AVCOM now with a bargepole, their mobile phones have gone very quiet to repeated requests for re-imbursement of the above mentioned items, and the e mails go unanswered. You are best to go, if possible, direct to the Principal.

Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome to Avcom Aviation, the only pilot recruitment company run by pilots for pilots.
Hmmm.....every cobbler to his last, perhaps. Recruitment is quite a tricky business to get into. So is piloting. Why mix them?

Read the bits and pieces of the contract, somewhere located in the UK, the law of the US, payment somewhere else, Avcom not responsible for anything, Avcom not liable for payments if airline does not pay.... no way, circumnavigate this wannabee agency!!!!
