Help is needed from Easy pilots(Newcastle based ones would be ideal...)

Hi all!!

Just a few questions guys

I'll be starting my refresher course in Luton in two weeks and I was wondering if the full board accomodation provided from the company, still implies for my days off..If not could someone claim the allowances afterwards?
Sadly going back home for my days off is not an option as home is really far ( 2000 miles...)
Also as I'll first go to Newcastle to rent a house does anybody has a real estate agency that he used so I could use it as well?
Nevertheless I have to admit that relocating is not among the easiest things

Thanx a lot in advance:):)

Hi Giorgino and congratulations with your new job. As far as I recall from the time I started in the company, the non-Luton based people will be put in the Ibis hotel (next to the airport/10 min from the academy) for the duration of the course, EXCLUDING the few days off we had during the course. easyJet assumes you will be going home on these days and therefore does not provide accomodation. You will not be able to claim any expenses back, if you decide to stay in the hotel at own expense on a day off.
Most of them who did that, however, were able to strike a good deal with the management at the Ibis (eg. stay at company rate etc.).
This might all have changed, so if in any doubt, call recruitment and ask. They'll be able to give you the correct answers.

Hi,
Good luck if you have to stay in the ibis,to call it a 'hotel' would be doing travellodge a disservice,

personally I reckon you would be better off sleeping under one of the sims next door at alteon !

But, there you do not get any beer at all!:)

Presumably if your paying then you would stay at the Ibis because its cheap, but if the Company provides the Hotel then the Ibis is rubbish.
