can anyone let me know the approx start salary for captains and how the expenses are calculated. also approx number of days away per month. thanks.

Average 12 nights away per month. Allowances are £2.58 per hour from initial report at LHR until return, results in around £600 extra per month. The starting salary on ppjn seems about right.
