Ryanair fix-costs, etc...
Hallo guys,
It would be nice, if there was a Ryanair Pilot, I could E-Mail or who could support me via PM. I just want to start to work for them. Thanks The question is : What amount of fix-costs like yearly sim, medical, recurrent, line-check, license, parking and so on do I have to expect working for Ryanair excluding things like housing and meal...? Greetings Mike [email protected] |
great question!!!!
Dear fellow,
I have asked the same questions quite a along time ago and I had no reply..... It would be great to know....... if you do get an answer pleaseplease share it with us.... thanks a lot |
That's great informtion for full-time pilots. Is it much the same for contract pilots or do they have to cover most of the costs you speak of. Also are they paid the same as full-time pilots?

Those costs are the same for contractors but instead of a salary and sector pay they only receive money per flight hour.

How much do the contractors make per flight hour?
How many flight hours do they avg. per month? How do they determine if your a full-time or contract person? What are the pros and cons of full-time/contract positions? LDD |

Wing boy, I ask these questions because at the major airline that I fly for in the states they don't have contracts.
There is no difference between a guy that has 1500 hours or 5000 hours. They both, when hired get the same pay and are full-time pilots. LDD |

Might I suggest looking elsewhere. Some companies in Europe actually pay for things like your license and other training and checking costs. They will even open your application for free!
I find it hard to believe that people would consider working for an airline where the staff pay more to fly than the passengers. |
@ aerobat,
Thanks a lot for your reply. It sounds great (for me). Working for my company(also 900block), I have to pay for more things and I earn only the half of it, I could earn working for Ryanair. Regards Mike :ok: |
