Travel Benefits

Hi all.

We're in the process of negotiating travel benefits with our carrier.

Would really appreciate inputs as to the kind of travel benefits available to pilots (P1 and P2) and their families/friends in their own airline as well as other carriers (interline) when travelling on duty (say to operate a flight) or holiday.

For example:

1) How many confirmed/disounted tickects in a year?

2) What is the process of confirming the discounted tickets?

3) How much time prior to departure would you be able to confirm the travel?

4) What class of travel is authorized?

and anything thing else you can think of that may be relevant.

Thanks all and cheers :ok:

this are the bennies for AZ as pilot/Cpt:

With the company: unlimited travel, national, international and intercontinental. No taxes to pay. All free plus on international routes we must be checked in the higher class availeble.....Your family as ID 94/90/50 privileges plus a fee if want to upgrade.(it's not very common to buy it because the crew will upgrade your family on regular base if there are seats open). This is unlimited for ID90/50. On top of that, if you work between 23 dic and 02 jan you are entitle to bring for free with a positive space ticket one relative.
With other companies for yourself and your relatives (dad,mom,companion/fiancee/wife,sister and Brothers) ID90/75/50 or ZED Low/Med/high according to the agreements after six month.Usually unlimited but that still depend on the agreement.

hope that helped

What are the minimum requirements for AZ i have an italian friend he's got about 1300 hours FAA he is looking to convert to JAA. Its about 150 hours multi time and 1150 single engine. All his licenses are FAA

No mins. Anyways I would say If you have less the 1500 don't hope for a call. Right now with the new contract the increase in productivity is huge(also because mngt have no more excuses for stupid rosters with no flights) so no hiring for the moment...

see you
